JURATEK renews sponsorship with Árón Taylor-Smith for BTCC 2023 season

Juratek sponsors BTCC

High-quality braking brand, JURATEK, has announced it will once again be sponsoring multiple British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) winner, Árón Taylor-Smith, continuing their partnership into the 2023 season.

Taylor-Smith will be entering into his ninth season of the BTCC this year and will have the JURATEK logo on his Vauxhall Astra racing car.

Árón began his motorsport career in Ireland, quickly becoming an Irish Kart champion before stepping into the Clio Cup. Along his way, he has won races at infamous circuits, such as Monza and Imola, before returning back to the UK. The driver started his BTCC career in 2012, which was marked by a spectacular maiden victory in his debut season.

News of the renewed partnership with JURATEK comes as Taylor-Smith recently announced he has joined Power Maxed Racing for the 2023 season. He comments: "This offseason has been one of massive change, which honestly wouldn't have been possible without the support of everyone at JURATEK. 2022 was my first season representing such an iconic brand in the automotive industry, and their continued support has enabled me to change teams for the 2023 season.

“It is shaping up to be a great year and I can't wait to welcome the staff and customers from JURATEK along throughout the season whilst embarking on the next chapter of my BTCC career with Power Maxed Racing.”

Taylor-Smith adds: "I can't thank everyone at JURATEK enough for their continued support. They are a key part of my 2023 programme and I'm looking forward to giving them all something to scream about once again this year!"

Matt Leeming, marketing manager at JURATEK, said: “We’re delighted to renew our sponsorship of Árón this season. The BTCC is a great place to the show off the JURATEK brand and we are looking forward to watching his journey on the racetrack. We’d like to wish him great success this season!”

The 2023 BTCC season starts on 22nd April at legendary racing venue Donington Park in Leicestershire. This is followed by nine further race weekends at Brands Hatch Indy, Snetterton, Thruxton, Oulton Park, Croft and Knockhill, before the season returns to Donington Park on 26th and 27th August, then Silverstone on 23rd and 24th September, with the championship decider back at Brands Hatch on its Grand Prix circuit layout on 7th and 8th October, where Taylor-Smith will be able to compete for the title.

Taylor-Smith has been working hard in the offseason, not only changing teams but preparing for 2023 mentally and physically, with the championship title firmly in his sights this year.

JURATEK has been involved in the development of high-quality braking components for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks, buses and coaches, since 1995.
