BM Catalysts unveils expanded GPF range at successful Automechanika
BM Catalysts, Europe’s leading producer of aftermarket hot end emissions products, made a substantial impact at Automechanika Frankfurt, held from 10th to 14th September, with the company showcasing its latest innovations, including the expansion of its Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF) range, reinforcing its commitment to meeting the evolving demands of the emissions control market.
The introduction of GPFs highlights BM Catalysts’ dedication to ensuring vehicles comply with stringent emissions standards, catering to an ever-evolving automotive landscape.
The recent expansion of the GPF range includes 56 Euro 6 fitments, accommodating almost two million additional vehicles, thereby enhancing the accessibility of high-quality emissions control solutions for technicians and distributors.
Also known as a Petrol Particulate Filter (PPF) or Otto Particulate Filter (OPF), a GPF is an emissions control device that reduces particulate emissions from gasoline direct injection (GDI) engines.
Using a ceramic honeycomb structure, GPFs effectively filter fine particulates and ensure compliance with emissions standards, converting harmful substances in exhaust gases into less harmful emissions, especially under Real Driving Emissions (RDE) regulations.
Mark Blinston, Commercial Director at BM Catalysts, commented: “The introduction of our Gasoline Particulate Filters reflects our commitment to leading the market with advanced solutions that meet the needs of today’s automotive industry and address the complexities of modern hot end emissions systems.
“The show offered a great opportunity to connect with current and potential partners on an international level and demonstrate how our expanded product range can support them in the evolving emissions control market.”
