CAN-PHANTOM Immobiliser

Early-stage company CAN PHANTOM have joined a joint venture collaboration with Cambridge based semiconductor giant ARM and Cambridge University, the project is coordinated through government sponsored Digital Catapult.

The project involves the evaluation of ARM’s Morello demo board based on CHERI, a new instruction set secure architecture representing the largest growth shift in hardware design in thirty years “it bakes security into the microprocessor” and developed by Cambridge University.

CAN PHANTOM design, develop and manufacture high technology vehicle security systems primarily to prevent the current trend in keyless entry theft as well as internet of things applications and are utilising this collaboration in application of security of captured data which might be used by the likes of insurance companies to evaluate driver performance and theft protection and performance analysis.

CAN PHANTOM are at an early stage in growth performance and are actively seeking investment and believe this collaboration will add huge value to its prospects.
