Castrol has launched a new online sales platform with an easy-to-use dashboard and a range of advanced features that allow trade customers to purchase Castrol products and track, view and manage their orders more easily. Castrol Shop, which is available at: https://shop.castrol.com/, enables direct trade customers, including workshops and distributors, to order Castrol products that are relevant for their portfolio.

An improved ‘product search’ tool function enables Castrol Shop users to quickly and easily find Castrol products, choose pack size and quantity and place orders. Users can now also ‘favourite’ products that are frequently purchased to speed up future orders, as well as view their previous orders and reorder with one click. Large orders can now be placed more easily thanks to the file upload feature, allowing up to 100 different product lines.

Castrol Shop also offers improved visibility of order and invoice status via the dashboard; it is now possible to view, extract to Microsoft Excel or download order details for easier tracking. Workshop managers can view their own real-time lubricant tank levels via Castrol Shop by integrating it with the OilFoxtelemetry solution, which draws data from volume sensors within their storage tanks.

“We’ve listened closely to feedback from our customers to identify the features they would most like to see on Castrol Shop,” comments Bob Doodkorte, Digital Product Specialist – EMEA / Digital Product Manager at Castrol. “We have many more platform enhancements in the pipeline, which will ensure we continue to provide a quick and easy ordering experience for workshops and distributors.”

Customers interested in signing up for an account with the Castrol Shop should contact their Castrol sales or customer service representative for further information.
