NTN is the latest member to join the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation’s (IAAF) ever-growing membership, as the federation expands its line-up of prominent suppliers.

NTN is one of the world's leading designers, developers and manufacturers of bearings, linear modules, constant velocity joints, encoders, tensioners, vehicle spare parts, maintenance products and servicing solutions, and is a preferred partner to many of the world's largest automotive OEM manufacturers.

The company’s dedicated SNR aftermarket brand provides automotive aftermarket solutions, including products for the chassis, powertrain and driveline. Its products are used by many European and Asian vehicle brands and are designed to meet the needs of more than 95 percent of the market.

Products in NTN’s leading SNR aftermarket brand include Wheel Bearings, Timing Belt Kits and Components, Timing Chains, Strut Top Mounts, Shock Absorbers, Driveshafts, Sensors and Gearbox Bearings.

Discussing the importance of joining the IAAF, Chris Stokes, UK & Ireland Sales Manager – Automotive Aftermarket, at NTN commented: “The IAAF membership enables NTN to collaborate and work closely with the wider UK Aftermarket through its members. As a global company we pride ourselves on being a positive, adaptive and supportive presence within our local markets.

“It is important that we work in collaboration to understand the needs of our customers and their customers to ensure that our shared visions are aligned. Joining the IAAF gives us the platform to do this and will support NTN’s long-term vision to actively contribute to the growth and success of the independent automotive aftermarket in the UK.”

As a member, NTN will benefit from IAAF’s popular networking opportunities, as well as access to essential resources such as weekly eBulletins, updates on industry news, and insights into IAAF's lobbying efforts to protect and promote the automotive aftermarket sector.

Mark Field, chief executive at IAAF, said: "We’re pleased to have NTN on board as we continue to grow and strengthen our membership with suppliers that deliver high-quality products to the market, as well as providing a new voice in the sector when lobbying for issues affecting the aftermarket.”
