It isn’t often that something really new and potentially industry-shaking comes our way, but ifndautoparts, which is a new platform dedicated solely to buying and selling car parts, might well be it!

After almost four years of development, ifndautoparts is now live as both a website and a phone app, and breaks cover to the public at the upcoming Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show at the NEC from March 21-23.

“We will be part of the FBHVC (Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs) stand area in Hall 5,” explains ifndautoparts director, Mick Lunn. “We will have a small counter where people will have the chance to meet the crew, get to know what ifndautoparts is all about, and see for themselves how easy it is to use. They can also, of course actually list their parts, or purchase something through the app!”

Looking to reach the hardcore classic car audience - which is a key target for the nascent business - at the NEC event, the following weekend sees ifndautoparts switch its thrust towards the car tuning and modifying enthusiasts, with a major presence at Petrolheadonism Underground, which takes place in the car parks around Wembley Stadium!

The following month ifndautoparts is proud to be a partner at this year’s Japfest - the largest UK show for all things related to Japanese cars, which takes place at Silverstone on 12th and 13th April. Look out for the infdautoparts garage in the pits complex and also the “ifndautoparts bullet train” which will be ferrying visitors around Silverstone over the course of the event!

The background

ifndautoparts is a new business set up by a family of car enthusiasts who were forever experiencing difficulties getting parts for their various classic and performance machines. It seemed obvious to father, Mick Lunn, that there was an opportunity for something that addressed this need and now, after four years in development, ifndautoparts has broken cover.

What makes ifndautoparts different and special

Communications Director, Layla Lunn explains: “From streamlined bidding processes to exclusive trade pricing, no other marketplace offers crafted tools that make buying and selling more efficient and effective.

“Therefore, whether you're restoring a classic, upgrading your daily driver, or running a business selling parts, ifndautoparts gives you an easy, secure way to list, sell, and buy parts—all in one place. No listing fees, no endless scrolling through unrelated items—just car parts, from fellow enthusiasts.”

Because it’s designed for enthusiasts by enthusiasts, ifndautoparts isn't just another marketplace. It offers a host of features that differentiate it from other online automotive sales platforms:

My Garage, Saved Searches, Match Me, Inventory Management, and Wishlist combine with other well known and loved features such as Click & Collect, an Auctionand Make an Offer.  ifndautoparts also presents the user with various secure methods of payments as well as the ability to work with Trade Pricing and create a bespoke virtual shopfront within the ifndautoparts platform.

Overall, it aims to simplify buying and selling for both individuals and businesses.

ifndautoparts is VERY quick, straightforward and secure to use, lists parts without a fee and can either have purchases delivered directly to the buyer or can make them available to click and collect locally.  ifndautoparts’ aim is to help make selling and buying parts much easier, and it has the elements that might well make it just what enthusiasts everywhere have been waiting for.

ifndautoparts is also the only online platform built exclusively for buying and selling car parts…

Marketing Director Ruby Lunn sums up, “What sets ifndautoparts apart is its commitment to transparency and community. Unlike traditional marketplaces, it prioritises clear communication and support, ensuring that every transaction is smooth and hassle-free. ifndautoparts isn’t just a marketplace; it's a hub for automotive passion and performance, dedicated to improving the lot of everyone who works on cars – whether for business or for pleasure - because buying and selling car parts shouldn’t be hard!”
