Mountney joins IAAF

IAAF member

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has welcomed automotive accessory supplier Mountney to its membership.

Mountney was established almost 30 years ago and is a leading national supplier of vehicle roof bars, mirror glass and accessories under its Summit brand, and holds Mountney Classic in its portfolio, a renowned classic car steering wheel brand.

Dan Kimpton, managing director at Mountney, said: “Membership of the IAAF provides the perfect opportunity for us to engage further with the wider motor trade, and share experience, knowledge and insight with similar businesses.

“The Federation is a big driver in pushing the aftermarket forward and navigating the challenges collectively faced by businesses across it, so we’re excited to work with the IAAF and its members to advocate for the sector’s needs.”

The trade body’s service membership has continued to grow throughout the year and the latest expansion sees the Banbury-based company joining to support the Federation’s lobbying initiatives and industry networking events.

Mark Field, IAAF chief executive, said: “Mountney is the latest in a long line of valued members within the Federation, and it’s fantastic that more businesses within the sector are considering IAAF membership as part of their business development strategy. The IAAF supports each of its members with a strong collective voice benefitting the aftermarket and wider supply chain.”

As IAAF’s newest member, Mountney will have access to many of the Federation’s benefits, including entry to industry networking events and insights into the IAAF’s lobbying activities to protect the automotive aftermarket.
