New workshop manager heads up Repairify Luton technical centre of excellence

Repairify new workshop manager

Industry specialist Rob Neale has been appointed operations and workshop manager by Repairify to head up its workshop operation at its site in Luton, creating a technical centre of excellence to provide expert training and support for customers conducting vehicle diagnostic and calibration services.

With over 30 years in retail sales, Rob has spent the past 14 years working for BMW Group, most recently as retail sales manager.  His role will see him establish strong relationships with repairers and foster connections with local garages and colleges in the Luton and Bedfordshire area.  Rob’s objective is to develop regular training days for technicians and apprentices to upskill in ADAS repairs through the use of Repairify’s diagnostic and calibration tools, nurturing new industry talent amid the growing concern about the lack of skills entering the industry.

Phil Peace, managing director (SVP) International, Repairify Inc., says, “Rob’s considerable industry experience and knowledge will enable us to forge new business relationships and achieve our ambitions to position diagnostics as an attractive and appealing career path for young people.”

Rob Neale adds, “I’m relishing the opportunity to develop our technical training and support programmes to deliver a true technical centre of excellence that will benefit repairers, colleges and trainees alike.”
