PartsForMachines reaches new landmarks
Record Month and Quarter bring 2024 to a noteworthy conclusion
50th Supplier partner signs up with Agriculture and Construction Aftermarket platform
Expanded customer engagement via introduction of WhatsApp
Partsformachines.com – the UK’s foremost Agriculture and Construction industry aftermarket sales platform moves into 2025 off the back of its strongest performing quarter and month to date. October saw a new record month for the company and, with an extremely strong November and December following on, it ensured that Q4 was the best yet for PartsForMachines.
“We are delighted to see a significant uplift in business in 2024,” enthuses Partsformachines.comManaging Director and founder, Abhishek Tanwar. “As our team headed for a well-earned break last Christmas, it was gratifying to see that all business metrics ranging from customer engagement, to sales, enhanced product offering, and growing repeat customers ended the year growing rapidly. We also appear to be kicking on from there, as 2025 has started strongly, so we are looking forward, hopefully, to another step forward in our business this year.”
The online aftermarket sales platform - which services Agriculture and Construction as well as general Industry - has shown consistent growth since its launch in 2021. Last year it announced the expansion of the business into Ireland and also the launch of sister business, MachineRefurb.com, which is the first consolidated sales platform for manufacturer-refurbished equipment.
PartsForMachines also reached the milestone, in December, of the signing of its fiftieth supplier partner. One of the key features of the platform has been the opportunity it gives customers to shop, in one place, for a variety of top quality, trusted brands leading brands in both its parts offer and related aspects of the purchasing and delivery process.
It has come a long way, in this respect, since its launch. “We have grown our supplier partner programme extensively in the last year,” explains Abhishek Tanwar (pictured). “Those who made the initial leap of faith and joined us, blazed a trail at the time, but other brands have come to realise, that we offer a new and potentially lucrative route to market. This has meant that both the number of brands and the quantity of parts that each supplier partner brings to the platform has increased exponentially in the last couple of years.”
Four years ago, welding equipment company SIP was the first to sign up, and the number of brands has continued to rise, with other top industry brands joining up – names such as JCB Tools, Shell, Hyundai, Philips and Continental, as well as industry specialists like WAI, Abracs, and Ashtree Vision and Safety.
PartsForMachines has a very straightforward sales philosophy, based on four pillars: Easy to Find; Easy to Buy; Great Service and Hassle-free Returns, and having looked at the business and its ongoing needs, the latest area to come under the spotlight is the Customer Engagement function. Not only is this being expanded and enhanced with introduction of engagement tools such as WhatsApp, but PartsForMachines is also recruiting a dedicated management team for this part of the business.
“The customer experience has always been at the heart of our business and we recently crossed the milestone of over 400 5* ratings on Trustpilot. We are also embracing AI to help further enhance the customer journey, helping them find what they need more easily,” adds Abhishek Tanwar. “Obviously, however, we also need to ensure that we are working in the most effective and helpful ways possible with our customers when they don’t have any immediate needs. We want to keep them engaged and help them wherever we can.”
