Toyota Motor Europe once more recognises DENSO’s contribution

DENSO has been recognised by Toyota Motor Europe (TME) for its efforts and contributions towards the company

Once again, DENSO has been recognised by Toyota Motor Europe (TME) for its efforts and contributions towards the company, receiving five supplier awards: the Superior Award for Cost Management, the Achievement Award for Sustainability, the Achievement Awards for Project Management and Supply for DMHU, and a Certificate of Recognition for Value Analysis

On an annual basis, TME awards its top performing suppliers over the previous year in these categories: Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Supply, Project Management, Innovation, Cost Management, Value Analysis and Smart Standard Activity.

Presented during its 2024 Annual Business Meeting, which took place in Brussels, Belgium on the 25thApril 2024, Mr. Kenichiro Ito, CEO of DENSO in Europe, and Mr. Hiroshi Yamashita, President of DNBE, attended the TME ceremony and received the trophies on DENSO’s behalf.

During the ceremony, many of TME’s top management, including its President and CEO Yoshihiro Nakata, expressed their appreciation to DENSO for all of its efforts and contributions throughout the years.

From 1995 to 2023, TME has recognised DENSO’s positive contribution as an industry partner and supplier on many occasions, resulting in a total of 124 awards in various categories, with most awards received in 2023, although with this year's awards, DENSO has reached another milestone as a TME supplier.

DENSO received the Superior Award for Cost Management, the Achievement Award for Sustainability, two Achievement Awards for Project Management and Supply for DMHU, and a Certificate of Recognition for Value Analysis.

Mr. Kenichiro Ito acknowledged the importance of these distinctions and expressed great appreciation for the contributions made by all of DENSO’s associates in Europe. He also encouraged them to aim even higher, continue to ensure the excellence of its products and services, and bring home more trophies for the company.

Mr. Hiroshi Yamashita, President of DNBE, expressed similar sentiments, sending out a “Big Thank You!” to each manufacturing company, related departments and DNBE members, along with the hope of further strengthening DENSO’s QCDD and going beyond TME’s expectations in the coming years.
