Power-TEC introduces connectable Glue Puller Pads for Paintless Dent Repair
New to the Power-TEC range of professional bodyshop tools and equipment is this latest innovation: an assorted set of connectable glue puller pads, complete with pad holders (part number 92690). This comprehensive set is specifically designed for use with hot glue, together with a slide hammer or dent puller. It offers a superior solution for removing larger dents and creases in vehicle bodywork as part of a paintless dent repair (PDR) glue-repair process.
The unique design of the individual puller pads allows them to be linked together, each featuring a pivot mechanism that enables angling or curving to follow the contours of the bodywork or the shape of the dent. This design ensures a larger continuous contact area, reducing the amount of tap-down work required once the pads are removed. The set is conveniently supplied in a durable plastic storage case.
The set includes:
• 24 connectable puller pads (3 sizes, 8 pieces of each).
• A 160mm curved pad holder
• A 160mm straight pad holder
• A 90mm straight pad holder
• A 70mm straight pad holder
• Four adaptors, plus a M10 x 1.5 adaptor for use with standard accessories, including the Power-TEC Pulling Tower, part number 92657. Thus, suitable for use with dent pullers and slide hammers, including the Power-TEC 92487 Dent Removal Glue kit.
Power-TEC recommend the use of their Gluematic glue gun (part number 91237), and glue sticks, part number 92342. And for easily removing the glue after use, their Hot-Melt Glue Remover, part number 92341.
