Comline Group shines at Automechanika Frankfurt

Comline Group concluded an eventful and highly successful week at Automechanika Frankfurt, buoyed by strong interest in its Comline, Motaquip and Allied Nippon brands.

As the world’s premier automotive trade fair, Automechanika Frankfurt welcomed exhibitors from 80 countries and drew over 100,000 visitors from 172 nations to the bustling halls of Messe Frankfurt.

Indeed, Comline Group wowed visitors from at least 73 different nations with its fresh, spacious, and highly impactful 120m2stand. Located in the newly-refurbished Hall 5.1, and highly visible thanks to a suspended canopy, the Comline Group stand was a focal point of interest throughout the international event. The company’s dedicated and experienced team showcased the group brands – Comline, Motaquip and Allied Nippon – and its diverse portfolio of products.

Always distinctive with its bold blue and yellow colour scheme, the Comline brand featured heavily on the stand of its namesake parent company. ‘More than the sum of its parts’ was the Comline brand theme, and its striking presentation aimed to showcase all that the brand has to offer. This started with its product, most notably a showcase dedicated to Comline parts for the Tesla Model 3, but also covered its TecDoc PDS-rated data, customer service, warranty, diverse marketing and growing social following.

Group stablemate, Motaquip, also featured heavily on-stand for this year’s event, underlining the brand’s growing appeal in export markets. A revered name in the UK aftermarket for over four decades, Motaquip continues to establish itself in new markets and its presentation at Automechanika Frankfurt focused on its rich aftermarket heritage. ‘The Choice of Mechanics for Generations’ adorned a stand-out, 10m graphic accompanied by a carefully crafted showcase of Motaquip’s expansive range.

Completing the Comline Group brand portfolio was Allied Nippon. Comline Group is the sole European distributor for Allied Nippon as part of a joint-venture agreement with the global friction manufacturer and, with Automechanika Frankfurt being a meeting place for the global exhibition, Allied Nippon was in-town with a standalone presence in Hall 6.1, Nevertheless, Comline Group maintained a presence for Allied Nippon, most notably the brand’s EV+ brake pads, a range that has been developed exclusively for electric vehicles.

Exciting times ahead for Comline Group – and its worldwide customer base!

Comline Group’s participation at Automechanika Frankfurt was strengthened by product demonstrations and a dedicated area for networking and meetings. Overall, the week provided a valuable platform for forging new partnerships and strengthening existing relationships across global markets.

Comline Group General Manager – Marketing and Communications, Leigh Davies, said: “Coming away from Automechanika Frankfurt 2024, the consensus is that this has been the best Frankfurt ever for Comline Group. We were blown away by the positive reaction towards our stand and delighted by the level of interest in our brands and products.

“The event also provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with existing partners and establish new relationships – we’re excited to build on these connections and the momentum gained. We depart with opportunity abound and, once again, Automechanika Frankfurt has delivered for Comline Group.”
